Actually I regularly talk to Jurie Horneman and Erik Simon. They are on my discord servers. I think they like what I do. Beside when I find a bug which Jurie made back then and fix it. :D
That is awesome! I love their games. I wish someone would make a remake of Lionheart, but I know that the rights to that are pretty tangled up in such a way that no-one has been able to satisfactorily answer who on Earth owns them, as I undertand!
This is awesome ofc, but any plans to ever bring back Amberstar or anything else like this?? I ask because this game takes place after Amberstar (according to the intro) so I think some peeps would def be interested in that game too! Cheers dev!
Yes I am already working on it. There is a working prototype where you can explore 2D and 3D maps. I guess the inventory and conversations also work partially already.
The project is currently in my Amber repository which unifies the engine to work for Amberstar and Ambermoon and maybe also for the future third part.
I you want to try, I could provide a prototype. But it will take a while to finish everything.
Oh wow, that's awesome news and totally unexpected!! I will wait patiently for the release then, very interesting about the 3rd part too. Sounds like a ton of great RPG adventure awaits, thanks Pyrdacor!
THANK YOU!!! from the bottom of my teenage-memories-heart!
I love Amberstar, it's one of my all time favorite RPGs. I played it on the Amiga, I played the PC version (although the soundtrack wasn't as good as on the Amiga version) and I played the emulated version again.
But I'm sooo looking forward to your adaptation and possibly improvements to some of the bugs. Great news!
Does not work. On my Linux (Ubuntu 20.04) the game coredumps just at the end of the intro (after the caption "Lyramion 70 years later" is displayed and the aerial view of a city is shown). No other error message except of "core dumped" (but there's no actual coredump file, as it's disabled by default on my system).

Working well and tons of fun so far. What a gem of a game to resurrect.
I am happy that you like it and have fun with it. Of course the main credits go to the original creators from Thalion. :)
I love this!
Have you been able to talk to anyone in the Thalion team about this? They may get a kick out of it.
I'm still wondering who has the rights to Lionheart.
Thank you so much.

not 100% certain, but shouldn't this be "AUFGESTANDEN"?

Indeed. Thank you
Fixed in 1.12.0 btw

was probably fixed, as it works on my Garuda just fine now.
hey, i hope you don't mind, but I put the Amiga version in the top 100 Amiga homebrews of all time.
Sorry I missed that somehow. You mean the Advanced version. Cool thank you very much for that. Really appreciated. :)
my pleasure
Is there any hope for a remake to come on Steam?
